Our Prayer

I call upon the deep Celtic Wisdom of the ancestors connected to the land. I pray for balance.

In the energy of Winter Solstice, the darkest day and the returning of the light, I give gratitude for the quiet time to gather my resources.I call upon the element of earth, I give gratitude for all the gifts of steadiness and stability. I feel this element inside of me. I feel my feet on the ground. I ask for the earth to continue to hold and nourish me.

In the energy of Spring Equinox, the balance point of equal daylight and darkness, of new beginnings, I give gratitude for the rising energy of new life bursting forth. I call upon the element of air, I give gratitude for the gift of the fresh breeze blowing through our lives and our minds. I feel this element inside of me. I feel my mind awakening. I ask for air to continue to move and inspire me.

In the energy of Summer Solstice, the longest day, the height of summer, burning and catalyzing, moving forward, I give gratitude for the flow of energy and passion. I call upon the element of fire. I give gratitude for the cleansing and transformation. I feel this element inside of me. I feel the fire of my passion. I ask for fire to continue to move me forward.

In the energy of Autumn Equinox, the balance point of equal daylight and darkness, I give gratitude for the bountiful harvest of our labor. I call upon the element of water. I give gratitude for the ability to ebb and flow with life, to enter into the depths and return with wisdom and clarity. I feel this element inside of me. I feel the water of my emotions. I ask for water to wash away fear and doubt so that the current of life supports me.

We give thanks to Earth in the North, Air in the East, Fire in the South, and Water in the West, for carrying us though another cycle of the wheel.

Blessed be!
